I had a great trip back. There was no rain and it was a clear day. I was coming out of Crockett, everything was still great. So about five hours into the trip "Pop!!!", "Flap flap!!" I blew out my passenger’s side rear tire. Man! It was the middle of nowhere, so I changed it myself. I could have called and had someone change it, but it was faster to put the doughnut on and drive to Wal-Mart. It took about twenty minutes. I had to drive under 45 miles and hour. I used my hazard lights every time someone came near to me. Then after a few minutes they realized that I was driving that slow for a reason, they passed me up. It was a long forty minutes of driving like this. I made it to Wal-Mart, and an hour later I had a new tire. I would have been home about two hours sooner if this didn't happen. I always wonder why stuff like this happens. I guess it is fate. It must've happen for a reason. Maybe if this didn’t happen, some thing worst could have happen.
I got to see a lot of old friends and did a great session on digital audio. I also learned a lot good teaching ideas. And I learned a few more dances. Watch out!!! But I can wait to get back to teaching and singing at the open mike nights.
Me Changing my Tire. It took about 20 minutes.
Before I left San Antonio I went to the Tower of the Americas
