Making Your Own Future

Making Your Own Future

Every day, time pass before our eyes. And it does not stop. One day you are young. The next, you are not. There is nothing you can do about time except embrace your future. So focus on that future. Time will not stop, and neither should you.

Your future will be what you make it. It starts when you are young. The choices you make will determine what kind of future you will have. Whether your future is bright is due to your decisions. Every day, what you do and do not do will establish your future.

When you can delay immediate results, usually, your future will be better. Investing in your education, finances, relationships, and health all take commitment. Deciding one day that you will take ownership of your life will affect your future. Of course, you cannot change your past. If you need help, seek it out. Sometimes it takes years to work on issues in your life. It could take five years to solve. If today you started, five years from now, that issue will be resolved. If you start five or ten or twenty years later, it still would be five years to correct your problem. When you need to change something in your life, make those changes expeditiously.

The future truly is up to you. Your daily actions determine your future. Set up goals and accomplish them. The future can be extremely bright if you work hard now to make it so. Make happiness a part of your future. Find ways to have the freedoms important to you as a part of your future. Never stop learning. There is so much to learn in only one lifetime as a student. And smile as much as you can. Long after you perish, people will remember that smile.
