Do Not Let Your Thoughts Keep You From The Truth

Do Not Let Your Thoughts Keep You From The Truth

Most people feel they are intelligent, at least in one aspect of their life. At times, people think others know nothing while they know everything. In many ways, it all falls upon perspectives. The way you view a specific situation tells a lot about who you are as a human being. If you consider the glass half full or half empty, it tells a lot about you and how you live your life. Multiple individuals can believe multiple perspectives in society. It is difficult to know who is correct or who is in error.

This statement relates, remember to stay intelligent in spite of your education. Just because someone is educated with multiple advanced degrees, or has skills in some technical procedure, does not mean they are correct. While experience and expertise can help you make decisions, it does not mean they are right in all subjects or matters. It is their opinion, and it could be correct or incorrect depending on many circumstances.

Finding the truth has always been difficult. With advanced technology, computers, and the Internet, people might believe finding the truth is easy. Someone who spends a lifetime studying a particular subject realizes how little they know about it. Humanity is only around long enough to see part of the road, missing the beginning and end. Using only a tiny slice of this metaphorical road does not guarantee to realize the truth.

When seeking the truth, trust your instincts. Being human, there will be self-doubt. However, these instincts are gifts from the past, allowing us to make decisions quickly and effectively. Our ancestors realized inaction would lead to termination. Doing something will at least give you a chance to survive during the problematic eras of humanity's past. When your face making a decision, inaction is not an option. It would lead to the same thing, nothing improving.

Deep inside, you know the truth. You know what is keeping you from achieving your goals and dreams. You must trust the process. It will be difficult at times. However, when you look back many years later, you realize that you tried to do something to improve your life. Hopefully, you will have a big smile on your face. Listen to others and gain their wisdom. Ultimately you are the one that must decide what is best for your future.
