Should I shave? Should I not shave? Both have really good reasons. If you don't shave you save time every morning, those minutes add up over a lifetime. By not shaving you also help keep your face warm on cold days.
If you do shave, you could look younger. There is also a certain amount of tradition to have a clean shaven face in the professional world. By shaving you also could stay cooler on warmer days.

Over the last few years, I have grown beards, mustaches and half grown beards, and will out a doubt I look older with any facial hair. Once I shave, I look closer to that kid of myself I saw many times in the mirror. For acting, if I need to look older, I grow out the beard.

So whether you shave or not, there is no one correct answer. It comes down to what you feel comfortable with and how you want to look. I love that I can be clean shaven one day and a few days later have a beard or mustache. So I can go back and forth in these styles. It helps with my acting gigs too.
Let that mustache and beard drop by a few times of the year. You may find that when you are clean shaven, you will miss your facial hair. In any case, do what you like, then others will like it as well.
