Me in awe of life.
I have wanted for a while to write about how I live life. There are so many folks that I met that hate life. They expect that this world owes them something. It doesn't. The world is the way that it is and it will go on long after we have shuffled off this mortal coil.
These are usually the people the get drunk or wasted because they want to get numb so that they can’t feel their pain or the hate they have for this life. Or they do nothing and sit in a hate everyone and everything. Blaming everyone except themselves.
What these people are forgetting is that life is full of awe. I am in awe of life when I ride my bike, run, smile at someone or play guitar outside. What a gift that I have that I can make music to help the world become a better place. You don’t have to play music to change the world. You can also make the world better by smiling at someone that needs it.
I find that people that drink to excess are the ones that don't take the time to just sit and watch life for a moment. Try it sometime. It doesn't have to be anywhere special, sit and watch life go by. Focus in on the moment and not the event. And sit there in awe of life and what it has to offer you if you accept it.
One way that I'm in awe of life is that I try to learn new things. I am taking the acting for camera class this semester. Partly because I make all of these sci-fi short films and want to look even better that I do right now in them. And partly because I want to grow as a human being. I choose to better myself and not sit and wait for my death.
I hope that life can be enjoyed by more than just by the saints or poets.
I wished that I could film the skills of all of my students the first of class and film them on the day of the final to see and show them how much they have improved over the course of the semester. So I am going to try this myself.
Here is a sample of my acting before the class has started. I'm sure that I'll post more samples of my acting as the semester goes by, but here I am before any instruction.
This monologue is from Hamlet. Act 2 Scene 2. It is one of the most powerful monologues in any of Shakespeare’s plays. It has also been used in Star Trek and in Babylon 5 too. Shakespeare and Science Fiction works well together.
Let me know what you think of my acting so far.

Out of curiousity, Do you drink alcohol? You seem like the type that doesnt. Do you party it up ever?-----Sarah
I have never drank in my life, I don't need to. Life is great witout it. And I have more fun than all of the people that I know.
Dear herbert,
Just wondering, what is the harm of having a cup of wine or beer? It is Ok if you do it responsibily. I respect your decision, but you made it seem like it is bad or something.---Sarah
I don't see many around here drink responsibily. I never see any designated drivers at the clubs I play at.
I know of no one that drinks only one cup of anything.
And the real reason is why someone would even want to put alcohol into their system.
There is no good reason to become for anyone to become drunk. And why take a chance at becoming a alcoholic?
AMEN HERB!!
Take from Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man, it's best not to even start.
I can't count on my fingers and toes, how many so called "responsible" drinkers I've pulled off of New Yorks streets for not only being a danger to themselves but to others.
I can proudly say that I've never touched the stuff. Cigarettes either!
Heck, I'm fortunate that I have access to the best "high" you can get! Nothing gets me higher that slinging from a thin strand of webbing 80+ stories above the city! (no pun intended). Getting high on life is SO much better that getting it from a bottle or baggie...
Okay, I've watched your video. This ought to be interesting on the progress you make! Best of luck to ya!
Keep being strong my nerdy friend!
Spider-Man
