I decided this weekend to make another music video. Instead of doing a singing music video, I wanted to make a more art type of music video.
I found the wall that used to be Crossroads a great choice. It is now a parking lot, but at one time all of the great Texas musicians played there, Willie Nelson and Stevie Ray Vaughan are just a few of these musicians.
So this parking lot is hallow ground for a lot of musicians.
I hope you like it and the song. It is one of the crowd favorites at open mike night.
Too Good For Her Music Video 7 meg Quicktime file
This is the famous parking lot that was once Crossroads.

Stick to the music videos when you are actually playing the music. I'm going to be brutally honest. That was the most boring music videos I'd seen....ever. The editing was well done, but just watching you stand and kneel in front of a wall was like watching paint dry. Just needed something to catch my attention. I got bored with it after the first 10 seconds.
Herb, thats one of your more artsy videos and I like it! I'd disagree with the other post, I found this one more interesting than just the standard, 'singing into the camera' music videos we see done all the time. I kept wondering what was going to happen, and when listening to the lyrics I see AND hear the solitude. Well done. Fun to see 'Crossroads' one last time.
