I just came back from Open Mike Night, and I had a great time. I have never drank and I don't smoke, but I love hear folks make music. I have to put on old clothes, because when I come back, I smell of smoke.
I play guitar and try to sing. It doesn't matter that I can't sing, I am having a ball.
I love it when I am on stage. I can rock the house. "Twist and Shout" gets everyone singing.
For that brief moment, I know what Elvis , Buddy Holly and the Beatles felt. I owned the audience.
John, Buddy and Elvis are diggin' it too.
Rock on.
